CALLING ALL CORNWALL SURFER GIRLS
The aim of Cornwall Surfer Girls is to support and promote progression in girls’ surfing and create a network and community of female surfers across the county. Meetings will be held on a (roughly) monthly basis at different venues in Cornwall.
The Club will be providing a range of events and training opportunities for girls and women of all ages and abilities including coaching clinics, fitness training and yoga, social events, group surf trips, local forums and amateur surf competitions. CSG is affiliated to the BSA so you will be fully covered by their insurance.
The Club is for surfers of all ages and abilities! If you can't surf we'll get you surfing, if you're good we'll support you in competition and any other way we can!
Members can live in or outside of Cornwall; if you surf here or aspire to surf here you're very welcome to become a part of the Club.
Membership
£15 or £10 for juniors (under 18).
Send monies to Kat Dawes, c/o Orca Publications, Berry Road Studios, Berry Road, Newquay, Cornwall TR7 1AT. All fees will go towards the club and BSA affiliation. You get access to our organised coaching and activities, BSA insurance, a membership card, hopefully a t-shirt, sticker and other freebies plus club discount vouchers for surf schools and Surfstock festival.
Subs will be required for some activities; these will be decided by the Committee according to the activity but won't be more than a few quid (unless it's the trip to Morocco you're thinking of!).
You don't have to pay straight away, just come along and see if what we're hoping to offer interests you.
